Rökvale Medieval idle RPG

What's new

What changed in the game, newest batch first.

  1. game

The Endless Spire got serious: MVPs, one climb a week and resurrection

    • Every Spire boss is now an MVP: 10 levels above the stage boss, far more HP, attack and defense, and high accuracy. Only a full, well-geared party brings one down.
    • The MVP really fights: an earthquake that hits the whole party with no dodging, minions that join mid-fight and an enrage if the fight drags on. Everyone watches together.
    • Whoever dealt the most damage is the floor's MVP: they get an extra boss chest roll and their name is announced to the whole town.
    • One climb a week per account, resetting every Monday at midnight (Brasília). If the whole party falls, the climb is over — no extra lives.
    • Potions now belong to the fight: during preparation you pick which one to bring, and the hero drinks it on their own when HP drops, with a cooldown based on the potion's power. Healing spells also wait longer the stronger they are, and share an exhaustion.
    • Packed floors, like Ragnarok's Endless Tower: monsters come in waves of four that attack together — going solo at the stage's level won't cut it.
    • Whoever falls stays down: between floors, a standing ally raises them with a Yggdrasil Leaf (General Store) or the Cleric's new Resurrection. The same goes between waves in the Rift Mine.
  2. game

Trophies that pay loot, captures on target and staves on the ground

    • Trophy Slots in the Bosstiary: the album level opens up to 3 slots, and a boss placed in one multiplies its own loot chances — ×1.1 at Prowess, ×1.25 at Expertise and ×1.5 at Mastery. Placing is free; swapping an occupied slot costs 3,000 gold.
    • Reached Mastery with a boss? The stage trophy goes into your bag and shows up by itself on your homestead house wall.
    • Capture minigame: when you use a Writ on a loose beast, a marker sweeps across a bar — hitting the green zone doubles that attempt's chance. The server's clock decides the hit, with slack for slow connections.
    • Each Rift type now changes the map: a field in the homestead's southeast becomes extra plots (Field), a pond that fills the watering can (Riverside), woods (Woodland), a quarry (Hill) or dry brush (Wilds).
    • Staves drop from monsters: every stage has weapons in the loot for all five classes — staff, bow and mace in every trio of monsters. The Alchemist still makes staves in the cauldron.
    • Fixed: both accessory slots on the character sheet now list what you can equip and swap right away.
  3. game

Friends at the homestead and contracts for your Order

    • Help each friend's homestead once a day from the Social window: help waters whatever is thirsty and treats blight, using none of the owner's supplies. The helper earns 3 Friendship Coins and the owner, 2.
    • Friendship Shop: coins buy Forge Seals, the festival seeds you missed, blight remedy and fertilizer.
    • Visit your friend's homestead and walk around with them: you see each other, chat locally and see the house with its trophies, the greenhouse, the beasts and the animals.
    • Order Capture Contracts: three arrive every Monday — capture one species, capture any beast and hunt one monster. Every member's idle fills the bar, and everyone who contributed collects the reward.
    • Pick your Rift type — Field, Riverside, Woodland, Hill or Wilds —, each with its own bonus (harvest, fish, wood, mine veins, loose beasts). The first choice is free.
    • New guides on the site: Rift Homestead, The Rift, Friends and Orders, Bosstiary and Weapons by class.
  4. game

The Rift opened: a homestead of your own

    • Orvan the Riftwright, at the Guild, opens the way to the Rift homestead: clear the land, till, plant and water. Crops grow on real time, with seasons, harvest quality and rotation.
    • Blight that kills the crop in 48 hours if left untreated; fertilizer, scarecrow, sprinkler and the Farming profession.
    • Machines that turn the harvest into goods: keg (wine, beer, juice), preserves jar (jam, pickles), seed maker and composter.
    • Coop and barn in the Pasture: chickens, cows and sheep give eggs, milk and wool — with hay in the trough and a pat every day. Cheese press and loom.
    • The house grows from Shack to Manor: the bed raises your offline time, and the cellar ages wine and cheese up to Golden quality.
    • Bundles on the Guild board: deliver little by little and earn the Greenhouse (grows out of season), the mine Elevator, gold and sprinklers.
    • The Rift Mine: 20 floors opened wave by wave by a team of up to 5 (hero, companions and beasts), with a Guardian every 5 floors and veins for the pickaxe.
    • Capture by Writ: each species has its own Capture Writ, spent on every attempt, with no pity. Captured beasts work the homestead from the Beast Den (water, harvest, clear rubble) and, when resting, leave a daily Gift.
    • Bestiary and Bosstiary in the Album, with Marks: points from mastered species become Plunder, Reaping, Trail, Siege and Evasion bonuses.
    • At night the Rift changes: a fairy speeds up the crops, a meteorite leaves noble ore and, in an unstable rift, loose beasts show up to be captured.
    • In the square, on Fridays and Sundays, the traveling merchant stops by the cart with the day's offers; and on the last day of each season the market festival sells a seed you won't find at the Seed Shop: strawberry, dragon pepper, sweet potato or frost onion.
    • Also: rebindable keys in Options, a first-run tutorial and the Credits screen.
  5. game

The square went online: party, Order and the Endless Spire

    • You now see other players walking around town and the forest, with each one's name, Order and party when you hover over them.
    • Tabbed chat — Local (shows as a speech bubble), Party, Order, Global, Trade and Whispers — and 24 animated emotes (/!, /?, /zz…).
    • Right-click a player (or hold for 2 seconds on mobile): view character, friend request, party invite and recruit to your Order.
    • Parties of up to 4, with a name. A friends list showing who is online. Your equipment only shows to others if you make it public.
    • Orders (the guilds): found your own, with a tag over your head, 6 ranks from Aspirant to Grand Master, a notice board and its own chat.
    • The Endless Spire: the party talks to the Warden together, at the north gate. Between floors nobody climbs until everyone is ready — swap gear, drink a potion, pick your pet.
    • Everyone watches the same fight, with the damage of every hit; at the end of the floor, a table of who dealt, took and healed — and, when the party falls, why.
    • After each boss (every 5 floors), everyone gets a chest with a rare item from that boss, and the whole party sees what each one got. Highest-floor ranking at the Warden.
  6. site

The site became a real wiki

    • Classes with the full skill tree: what each point adds, the prerequisite and the level where the skill opens.
    • Refining with the step-by-step odds table, the material for each weapon level and the cost in gold.
    • Recipes, shops and gathering professions, with the same numbers the server uses.
  7. game

    The town came alive

    • Residents with a routine, vendors behind their stalls and animals loose in the square.
    • Every shop got a pictogram sign on its door, and NPCs turn to face whoever comes close.
    • Mouse-wheel zoom and letter shortcuts: [E] interact, [I] bag, [P] party, [H] hunt.
  8. game

Fishing, cooking and the weight of your bag

    • Fish at the lake with rods and bait bought in gold, and raise your Fishing level with every cast.
    • Cook what you caught: each dish becomes a gold or EXP buff that follows your idle progress.
    • Every item now has weight. When the bag fills up, drops stop — but gold keeps coming in.
  9. game

Twelve companions, and a fight that lasts

    • The Vale's cast joined the game: each with a class, a story and a way to be earned by playing.
    • Combat got slower and more readable: you can watch the monster's health bar go down.
    • The area boss became an event: it shows up on a kill quota, not around every corner.
